[Fat Loss Fridays 01] 4.5 Minute Kettlebell Circuit = 30 Minutes of Cardio
Fat Loss Fridays 01!
I’ve spent the last 10 years personal training, and my focus has been two things: fat loss and corrective exercise.
Every Friday, I’m bringing you the most progressive, researched, and FUN techniques to better your fat loss and supercharge your physique.
Whether it be exercise, nutrition, or lifestyle related, you will be seeing these little treats in your inbox (or promotions tab!).
Today’s post is one of my favorite fat loss complexes. Complexes are by far the toughest type of HIIT because you can’t put the implement (barbell, kettlebell, dumbbell, plate, etc) down for the entire duration of the circuit. You’re basically forced to work your butt off.
Some research has suggested that HIIT can burn up to 3x the amount of fat compared to steady state cardio.
The complete circuit takes 12 minutes, which will equal 36 minutes of cardio.
Best part? You are really only doing work for 4 1/2 minutes since there is a 1:2 work to rest ratio!
