The other day I had a client doing what should have been a shoulder exercise but she was feeling it all in her neck and upper back.
If you’re feeling a pushing or pulling upper body exercise in the neck or upper back either:
A. You are doing the exercise incorrectly.
B. The exercise is bad for you and you shouldn’t be doing it in the first place (i.e. upright rows).
C. Your neck and upper back is so tight it is taking over for everything.
